Presales Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Presales Engineer at Nimbix, you will work with other members of the Sales team to help grow our user base and revenue of our cloud computing platform for compute-intensive workloads.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive product demos and overviews, including domain-specific applications
  • Perform technical qualification of customer prospects and record information for later hand-off to onboarding and support teams
  • Help customers implement presales workflows (e.g. tests, evaluations, etc.) using platform and service catalog features
  • Communicate field experience, including product gaps and feature requests, back to the product team

MAIN QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical position
  • Self-motivated and process oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation
  • Ability to define and drive projects to completion using timelines and exit criteria
  • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, etc.)
  • Familiarity with basic cloud computing concepts such as class of service, particularly SaaS
  • U.S Citizen

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with Computer Aided Engineering workflows and tools (CFD, FEA, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Linux in any capacity
