Visualizing for Big Data
Visualize refers to visualization of the analytics, so a person can see the results – for example, if you are doing social media graph analysis, you would look at a chart showing relationships as the result of the analytics. Visualization could also be of seismic data that’s been analyzed, in the Oil+Gas vertical (also a Big Data use case), for example. For Big Data, generally only Visualize is interactive.
Visualizing for Developers
Visualize refers to a visualization of the problem solving from the Compute stage, which could mean looking at a spreadsheet or looking at some rendering, for example – it is application specific. For developers, both Build and Visualize are interactive.
Visualizing for Engineers (CAE/Manufacturing)
Visualize refers to seeing the results of the computation – for example, heat-colored air around the surfaces of the plane you designed in “Build” and solved for in “Compute.”
Visualizing for Life Science
Visualize refers to seeing the results of the computation – for example, seeing annotations of the sequence data determined in the Compute phase.
Visualizing for Media & Entertainment
Visualize refers to 3D viewing of the renderings, or visual confirmation of the transcoding.
